How Does ProLon Work?

My Take on How to Optimize ProLon’s Benefits

As with most “fasts”, fewer symptoms and best results occur if you begin and end the fast properly. You’ll likely have less caffeine withdrawal headaches and feel better faster.

While your ProLon kit is being shipped to you, I recommended doing a “prep diet” for 3-4 days, which involves transitioning off of substances like caffeine, sugar, alcohol, and processed food, so when you start the protocol, you’re not dealing with the added toxicity of these substances.

  • Wean yourself off caffeine by moving from full caffeine coffee to “half caf”, then decaf, and green/black tea

  • Wean yourself off sugar, sodas, energy drinks and bars

  • Wean yourself off alcohol

  • Wean yourself off processed food

  • Eat three balanced, whole food meals comprised of veggies, fish, beans and gluten-free grains, nuts, and seeds

Is ProLon Right for You?

The ProLon protocol is excellent for those who need to lose weight and improve their metabolism. It is designed to induce the benefits of fasting, while still eating these specific foods.

Because it is low in calories with some fat, it can induce ketosis, and so it is common for users to report losing 5-8 pounds each time it is used. In the human studies done at USC, participants repeated the program one week a month for 3 months.

Who Should Not Use ProLon?

Pregnant and nursing women, those with an eating disorder (anorexia), those who are underweight, are on medication for diabetes, heart disease, liver or kidney disease and advanced cancer should avoid using ProLon.
